William Louis Cashatt,84,died at the family home at 9 polk street.
The son of Clark Cashatt and Sally (Grove) Cashatt, he was born near Breckenridge on February 2,1882. He attended Hale rural school in Daviess County. A retired farmer, lived in Breckenridge until 20 years ago,then moved to Chillicothe and has lived here since that time.
In Kingston on August 5, 1903,he married Etta Alice Atkinson, who survives of the home. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs Iva Burnett, Chillicothe; two sons, Earl Cashatt of Pleasant Hill and Rollie Cashatt of this city; a brother and a sister, Dude Cashatt, and Mrs. Maud Diment of Lakeside, Calif; 13 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cashatt was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Cashatt in 1960; two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Chapel of the Norman Funeral Home by the Rev. Orville Grace.
Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
