Laura Ninmer

Mrs. Oscar Ninmer, 74, of 928 4th St., Kiel, died Monday night at St. Nicholas Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.

The former Laura Westphalen was born Feb. 20, 1894 in the Town of Eaton, a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Emilie Lechler Westphalen.

She was married to Oscar Ninmer of the Town of Schleswig on May 16, 1911, at St. John's United Church of Christ in New Holstein.

The couple operated a farm in the Town of Schleswig, retiring 17 years ago, when they moved to Kiel. They observed their 57th wedding anniversary last year.

Mrs. Ninmer was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, and the Woman's Guild of the church. She was also a member of the Eaton Cemetery Ladies Aid Society.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Ethel) Rautmann of R. 1, Kiel; two grandsons and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Herman Buchholz of R. 1, Kiel, and Mrs. Edgar Roehl of Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Eaton Cemetery.

Fiends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 3 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and at the church from noon until the time of services.
