Mr. Enoch Jackson "Jack" Browder, 80, of Bartlesville, died at 3:39 a.m. Saturday at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Mr. Browder was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on June 24, 1929 the son of Leon and Catherine (Jackson) Browder. As a child he moved with his family to Fulton, Kentucky where he grew up and received his education. He attended Vanderbilt University and the University of Kentucky where he received his Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

He served with the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and following his Honorable Discharge he was employed with the Kewanee Oil Company and came to Bartlesville in 1956.

He was married to Peggy Joyce Hinkle in Bartlesville on May 13, 1959 and they made their home in Bartlesville.

Mr. Browder loved the oil business and he, along with Jim Ratcliff formed Browder-Ratcliff Oil Production which later became BRATCO. He was a member of the Adams Blvd Church of Christ and loved to golf and ski.

Mr. Browder is survived by his wife, Peggy Browder of Bartlesville, one son, Gil Browder of Tulsa, one daughter, Sara Meszaros and her husband, Jeff, of Bartlesville, and two grandchildren, Robert and Daniel Meszaros. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Miriam Johnston.
