After a painful and long illness, Mrs. *Carrie Adams died at her home Ninth and Hull streets, yesterday, at 12:10 o'clock. Mrs. Adams is very well known in the city, and for years conducted a confectionery store on lower Mull street. She is survived by two daughters - Miss Lillie Adams and Mrs. Irwin Brown - and one son, Mr. Emmett Adams. The funeral will be held from Central Methodist church, Wednesday afternoon, at 3 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, *Rev. *Rev. R. M. Chandler. Interment to be made in Maury cemetery.
