Services for Rosa Annis Rosier Batten, 86, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. The Revs. Bruce Wood and Glen Conner will officiate. Burial will be in the Wixon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Batten died Tuesday at Sherwood Health Care Center.
She was born in Madison County and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. She retired from the Bryan Independent School District Food Service and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.L. "Punk" Batten.
Survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Joe and Patricia Batten of Sugar Land, L.G. "Dicky" and Carolyn Batten of Huntsville, George and Kay Batten of Kurten, Henry and Jamie Batten of Huntsville and James Lee and Sandy Batten of Tabor; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Mary Nell South of DeCatur, Texas, Florence and Doug Richards of Bryan, Deborah and John C. Hicks of Franklin and Pat Batten of Bryan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray Samuel and Stazie Rosier of Dalhart, Texas, Sigal and Ruby Rosier of Bryan and Glenn and Maryann Rosier of Woodville, Texas; two sisters, Amy Kurten of Kurten and Mackie Bell Mitchell of Bryan; two sisters-in-law, Hazel and Lena Rosier, both of Bryan; 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
