She was born Feb. 7, 1928, at Clarkston to Melvin and Clarice Parkins Quigley. She graduated from Clarkston High School in 1945.
She married Donald W. Baney in October 1949 at Spokane.
After their marriage, the couple moved to Headquarters, where she was employed and later owned and operated the Headquarters Store.
Her husband died in 1971.
She married Brayton H. Flatt June 26, 1971, at Coeur d'Alene.
The couple moved to Asotin that same year.
She enjoyed making quilts, sewing and doing needlework for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
A daughter, Pamela, died in 1964. A brother, Robert Linn Quigley, died in 1992.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Merchant Funeral Home at Clarkston.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Merchant with the Rev. Richard Riffle of Clarkston officiating. Burial will follow at Normal Hill Cemetery at Lewiston.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Salvation Army, 1835 G St., Lewiston, or Hospice of Southeastern Washington, 549 Fifth St., Clarkston, Wash., 99403.
