D. W. Vining's Death
Died near Waha lake on the 12th D. W. Vining a native of Boston age about sixty-two. He had a couple of ranches and at the time was living on one of them with only a small boy with him, his wife having gone to visit to the states. He had been complaining some two or three weeks of not feeling well. The boy about 11 a.m., on that day went over to Judge Buck's ranch and informed them that he was complaining of not feeling well and Judge Buck had some food prepared for him that he thought he might relish, and after dinner took it over to him, and when arrived there found him dead. The Judge had his body brought into town on Wednesday preparatory to the funeral, meantime a telegram was sent to his wife. He had been desponding for some time past. His funeral took place yesterday.
