Mr. Kitchen retired in October 1965 after 37 years of service with Chevrolet Gear and Axle. He enjoyed baseball, gardening and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Floyd D. Kitchen, Detroit, and James R. Kitchen,, Warren; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Eva Coleman, Goodells; and one brother, C. M. Kitchen, Fort Pierce, Fla.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Homes-South Chapel, Port Huron. The Rev. Robert Archer of Goodells Bible Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James A., Gregory and Timothy Kitchen, Dale Bishop and Paul Misson.
