He then served in Company H, 327th U.S. Infantry, 82nd Infantry Division from August 18, 1918 to May 29, 1919.

He served overseas from September 8, 1918 to May 18, 1919.

He received his discharge from the Army on May 29, 1919 at Camp Dix, New Jersey.

He was originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

He was married to Emma Charlene Pettengill.

He was interred in the Gettysburg National Cemetery on August 13, 1955.

He was a younger brother of Jacob Winfield Dubbs, who is buried in Section 1 of the Gettysburg National Cemetery.
