GEORGE "PAUL" BELL
1951 - 2010

Paul Bell, 58, passed away peacefully at his home on April 24, 2010 after a long illness.
Paul was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. After graduating from Woodham High School, Paul began what would be a 33 year career as a locomotive engineer with CSX Railroad. Due to his illness, Paul retired from CSX in 2007.
His parents, Felix and Jeanette Bell and a loving stepson, Lt. Ray Simmons, ECSO, preceded Paul in death.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Bell; step-daughters, Dana (Craig) Blackwelder and Denise Simmons; step-son, Randy Simmons; grandchildren, Brandon, Brett, Brian, Alex, Nicholas, Payton, McKenna, Grayson and Jackson; mother-in-law, Betty Hencye; brother-in-law, Gerry (Sharon) Hencye; a special daughter-in-law, Susan Simmons; sisters, Marcia Ingledue, Ann Arnold and Jan Corgey; brother, Peter Bell and many loving nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Visitation at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Jeff Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul's grandsons as well as his dear friend, Donny Penton.
The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Covenant Hospice staff as well as to our Christ Community Baptist Church family. Your Prayers and friendship have meant so much.
