Death of Mrs. Alice Myrtle Lowe, 84, who lived east of Aurora overlooking the Pudding river in recent years and in Oregon since 1919, died Monday evening, Feb. 19, at Canby Nursing home, of an apparent heart seizure. She had been in Canby since Saturday after a three-week hospital stay for a shoulder injury received in a home fall Jan. 29.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m., in the Canby chapel of Everhart & Kent. Interment will be in Rock Creek cemetery, beside her husband, William Shelton Lowe, who died five years ago.

Mrs. Lowe was the mother of Mrs. William (Vivian) Jensen Sr., of Aurora, and of Dan Shelton Lowe of Portland. Two other children, Mrs. George (Geneva) Babb of Joplin, Mo., died at 61 Dec 6, 1967, and a son, Dennie Adrian Lowe, died at 62 Aug. 6, 1966.

Mrs. Lowe, nee Stout, was born May 6, 1883, in Webb City, Mo. She was married in 1899 in Empire City, Kansas, and came west with her husband to Portland in September 1919. The Lowes moved to the Jensen farm in 1951.

Besides her two children Mrs. Lowe leaves four grandchildren, Daniel M. Lowe and Mrs. Frank (Dianne) Spencer of Portland, William E. Jensen of Aurora, and Mrs. George Garrison of Webb City, MO.; and eight great-grandchildren, Susan Elleen and Scott and Steven Jenson of Aurora, Debbie and Lori Lowe of Portland, Gay Lynn, Georgina and Ginger Garrison of Webb City, Mo.
