Wayne John Burr, 58 of Ward died April 14, 2010. He was born Dec. 29, 1951, in Highland Park, Mich., to Mildred E. Burr and Jack Allen Burr.
He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Cindy Louise Burr.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kris Shock and husband Steven of Kennesaw, Ga., and Karen Burr of Roundlake, Ill.; two sons, Eric Burr and wife Candice of Antioch, Ill., and James Burr and wife Lindsay of Itasca, Ill.; mother and stepfather, Mildred and Bill Krent of Applegate, Mich.; wife, Sharon Burr of Illinois; two brothers, David Burr and wife Maria of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Ron Burr and wife Brenda of Ward; five grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Drew, Tony and Ethan; three step-sisters, Marcia Melwing of Louisville, Ky., Jackie McKee of Mount Clemens, Mich., Claudia Ringler of Milwaukie, Ore.; and a step-brother, David Krent of Mount Clemens, Mich.
Funeral services were April 17 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Cabot with interment in Old Austin Cemetery in Austin.
