The Kansas City Star (Kansas City Missouri) 13 May 1932 Fri p. 27:
Mrs. Myra G. Wallace, wife of T. B. Wallace, lawyer, died today at her home, 3515 Gladstone boulevard of a heart ailment from which she had suffered several years.
She was born in Independence in 1866 and was the daughter of George B. Gates, founder of the Gates Milling Company. She was graduated from the Presbyterian College in Independence and from the Elizabeth Hull seminary at Lexington, Mo.
She and Mr. Wallace was married in 1843. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Wallace leaves a son, John Wallace, and a daughter, Miss Helen Wallace, both of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Strother Wells, Platte City, Mo., and Mrs. David Wallace, 219 North Delaware street, Independence, and two nieces, Mrs. Harry S. Truman, 219 North Delaware, and Mrs. Lee C. Hull, 4555 Main Street.
