Dora Alice was married to Grat Dalton Davis. They had eleven children together. They were share croppers in Elora, Tn. and Plevna, Al. Grat died in 1952 and she still had four children at home to take care of. After all her children married, she stayed with different ones of her children. She was with her daughter, Odell Teague when she died in 1976.
