Surviving are his wife of 47 years Virginia Hansman of Carmi; two daughters and sons in law, Tammy and Rick Campbell and Jan and James Fishback, all of Carmi; a son and daughter in law Lee and Cindy Elliott of Grayville; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters and brothers in law, Marilyn and Gene Usery and Wilma and Ralph Jordan, all of Carmi; and a brother and sister in law, Charles and Kay Hansman of Carmi.
He was preceded in death by a son, John Wayne Hansman Jr. Burial in Centerville Cemetery with military rites.
