John and Cynthia had been married 24 years, having 12 children, 11 living. He was a blacksmith. They owned their home free and clear. Son, Arthur was a logging teamster. Mrs. Edith Brewer
Kelso, Wash., May 17, -(Special)- Mrs. Edith Brewer, 42, died at her home south of Kalama last night. She is survived by the widower and eight children, ranging in age from 20 years to 18 months. Police chief Jenkins of Portland is a cousin. She had lived in Kalama for many years. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at the Kalama Methodist church, with Rev. Mr. Jorgenson officiating.
