Services for Jimmy Feemster, 73, Kemp, were held Nov. 1, 2003, at Anderson Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp, with Rev. Jim Renfro officiating. Interment followed in the King Cemetery in Henderson County.
Feemster was born Dec. 31, 1930, in Dallas to Edward Raymond and Cora Lee Williams Feemster, and died Oct. 29, 2003, at his residence.
He had lived in Kemp for the past 13 years. He married Pauline Smith in Dallas, Aug. 11, 1951. He was a police officer with the Lancaster Police Department for 27 years, serving as Deputy Chief for 13 years. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and AMVETS.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Feemster, Kemp; sons, Jimmy G. Feemster, Midlothian; and Steve Allen Feemster, Red Oak; daughters, Nancy Ann Bridges, Red Oak; and Treva Lane, Kemp; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Feemster, Wylie; and numerous other relatives and friends.
