Elberta Morse, married Walter Benson. Together they owned + operated a Farmstead on the Baratier Rd. in Hastings, NY (this road is directly across from the Hastings Cemetery..) They had 2 Daughter's ie:
Mable (Benson) Munger -and-
Rita Belle (Benson) Bowen.
Elberta was my Great-Maternal Grandmother. The BEST of the Best!

Central Square – Mrs. Elberta Benson, 90, widow of Walter Benson of Hastings, died Saturday at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Anthony Cornell, in Hastings.
Mrs. Benson, a life resident of the area, was born April 7, 1874, daughter of DeSalvo and Ann Burrows Morris. She was a member of Hastings Presbyterian church and its Ladies' Aid Society. She was also a 60-year member of the Hastings Grange.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Munger of Hastings and Mrs. Rita Bowen of Liverpool; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Traub funeral home, the Rev. A. B. Ziegler and the Rev. Robert Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Hastings cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
