Eliza Jane Evert Goff was born in May 1843 in Ohio and died 17 November 1911 in Crown Point, Lake County, Indiana. Eliza was the daughter of Robert and Rebecca Patton Evert. Eliza was married to James R. Goff on 28 June 1860 in Lake County, Indiana. Eliza and James had 3 sons, Robert, William, and Charles. Eliza's obit appeared in the Crown Point Register, 1911, and it reported that she and her husband were laid to rest on the "Goff Family Farm", south of the Fair Grounds.
