FATHER WAS ORDAINED ON MAY 28TH 1955

Our Parish Priest here at St Helena's
Parkchester Bronx NY

Loved his Baseball and his favorite teams were
The NY METS and the Boston Red Sox

I will always remember what he said to me, in '69
"Don't fly with the Angels" in your new car.
I never forgot it. I even named it "Blue Angel"

Another saying he taught us was..
"Let your conscience be your Guild"
I live my this.

You are missed Father.

"To live in the midst of the world without wishing its pleasures,
To be a member of each family, yet belonging to none;
To share all sufferings, to penetrate all secrets, to heal all wounds;
To go from men to God and offer Him their prayers;
To return from God to men to bring pardon and hope;
To have a heart of fire for charity and a heart of bronze for chastity;
To teach and to pardon, to console and bless always-‑
My God, what a life! And it is yours, O Priest of Jesus Christ!"
