Mrs. Mobley came to Oklahoma in 1906 during the Indian territory days, by way of Texas and from Mississippi. She married Robert T. Mobley and they settled in Comanche, Ok where he was a rural mail carrier and she taught school. She taught the fourth grade her entire career in the Comanche schools and retired in her 70's after having raised a son and two daughters.
