Mary Etta Cross Hallead of 110 Bay St., Davison, age 81 years, died Thursday, May 8, 1952 at Sawyer Convalescent Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, May 11, 1952, from the Free Methodist Church, Davison, Michigan, the Rev Harry Hoyt officiating. Burial in Almer Cemetery, Caro, Michigan. Mrs. Hallead will lie in state until time of Services. Death was caused by complications after an illness of 6 years. She was born in Escott, Leeds County, Ontario, Canada, Feb 20, 1871, lived in Davison the the last nine years, coming here from Flint. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Davison. Surviving are Husband, Rev, Walter Hallead, 5 sons, Newall Cross of Flint, Dr. Firmin Cross of Detroit, Paul Cross of Flint, Wendall Cross of Davison and Milton Cross of Lapeer, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson: twin sister Mrs. T.S. (Ida) Kendrick of Toronto, Ontario; 3 brothers Dr. George Hutchinson of Saskatchewan, Canada, Joseph W. Hutchinson of Spaulding, Saskatchewan, James R. Hutchinson of Fort William, Ontario, several nieces and nephews.
