Lancaster - Thomas Yancy Williams, 80, died yesterday in a hospital here, after several months illness.
Mr. Williams, Vice President of Springs Cotton Mills, was a retired lawyer, formerly of the firm of Williams and Stewart, and was a farmer. He had represented Lancaster County in both State Senate and the State House of Representatives.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Margaret Olive Williams; two brothers, Steve Williams and Ben Williams of Lancaster; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Dobson of Gaffney.
