Friends of Dr. B. A. Batson, technician with the Capital Dental Laboratory in Jackson and a former dentist in Monticello for some years, have learned with regret of his death in the Royal Hotel in Jackson Tuesday morning folling an extended illness. Funeral services were held at the Baldwin Chapel in Jackson at ten o'clock Wednesday morning. Dr. Batson was buried in the Catholic cemetery in Brookhaven by his little daughter, Ann Elizabeth Baston who died in Monticello some years ago.

He was a former member of the Monticello Baptist church. He leaves a son, W. T. Batson of Jackson; a daughter, Mrs. R. M. Jackson, also of Jackson; three grandchildren, a brother and two sisters: Clifton B. Batson, Hattiesburg; Mrs. Stella Golden, Auburn, Ala., and Mrs. Bernice Anderson, Philadelphia, Pa.

Mrs. C. E. Gibson, Mrs. E. S. Fairman and Mrs. G. H. Hayes of Monticello came to Brookhaven for the services at the graveside with the Catholic priest in charge.
