Funeral services for Mrs. Von P. Byrum, who died early Monday morning at her home at Lookout Shoals, will be conducted this morning at 11 o'clock at Steel Creek church. Rev. Mr. Moore, of Lookout Shoals Presbyterian church, and Rev. M. Walker, of the Steel Creek Presbyterian church, will conduct the service. Burial will be at the church yard.
Miss Byrum was formerly Miss Maggie Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Brown of Steel Creek. She had been in declining health for three months.
Surviving are her husband, head engineer of the South Power company's plant at Lookout Shoals, and three young children, Thomas and Charles, twins, and John Franklin. Sisters and brothers surviving are Misses Susie May, Edith, Louise; Howard of Rich Square, Grady, Resses, Frank Lee, Fred and Benny. An aunt, Mrs. C. H. Garmon,, 543 Lamar avenue, lives in this city.
