RICHARD L. ROBERTS, 68, of Woodburn, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his family. Born Dec. 9, 1941, in Indianapolis, he owned Hoosier Metal Crafters, in Leo. Surviving are his wife, Patty; daughter, Tammy Hathaway; son, Richard D. (Chris) Roberts; stepchildren, Barb (Rev. Kent) Green, Bart Albright, Brad (Mindy) Carnes, and Brian (Angie) Carnes; one granddaughter, seven step grandchildren; and brother, Larry (Sharon) Roberts. He was preceded in death by grandsons, Brock & Braden Carnes. Memorial service is 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan, with calling 1 1/2 hour prior to service. Private burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the family.
