Grover Barnes had lived in Forth Worth since 1951. He served in WW II aboard an Army rescue ship in the Aleutian Islands. He retired from General Dynamics after 31 years, and was a member of the Tarrant County Masonic Lodge No. 942, Mosiah Temple Shrine and Scottish Rite, and the James L. West Alzheimer's Association. He married Bonnie Lee Sossaman in 1942 and they had three children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was also survived by one brother and five sisters.
