Born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. Spent married life there.

Employed and retired with Bethlehem Steel Company in Baltimore, Maryland. Employed as a production clerk. This company was located in the Sparrows Point area, in Maryland.
--------------------------------------------------------
He had one sister, Alma, and one brother called Milton. He had one niece that I'm aware of, her name is Cathy. Also to the best of my knowledge she had a daughter named Darlene.
---------------------------------------------------------
Willie, was a big cigar smoker, and loved to joke.
--------------------------------------------------------
Cause of death, Hepatitis C, He worked in a fruit and vegetable stand when he was a young man.

Above notes added by P. Arnold, wife of William Samilton's nephew-in-law; 12/2015.

* Notes from C. Frank, wife of William's 1st cousin, once removed: William was the oldest of 5 children. His sister Thelma was born in 1908, his sister Alma was born in 1910, brother Lawrence was born in 1912, and brother Milton was born in 1914. I have found no evidence that he was of Jewish/German descent, at least not as far back as the mid 1800's when his grandfather was born in the Washington D. C. area and his grandmother and her parents hailed from NY, North Carolina, and Maryland.
