Obituary, The State (Columbia, SC) Friday, December 14, 1962, pg 6d; Hebron E. Outlaw, Hartsville - Hebron E. Outlaw, 64, died at his home Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the chapel of the Brown-Pennington Funeral Home by the Rev. Carlos Watson, pastor of Kellytown Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Brannon Cemetery near Bethune. Mr. Outlaw was born in Kershaw County, son of the late Ben and Julia Brown Outlaw. Since 1932 he had made Hartsville his home. Until his retirement two years ago he was a taxi driver. Surviving are his wife, the former Inez Hawkins; five daughters, Mrs. J. H. (Yry) Barfield of Kelleytown, Mrs. Bill (Dot) Byrd and Mrs. Otis (Annie) Byrd of Hartsville, Mrs. Roy (Vernell) Gault of Darlington, and Mrs. Homer (Kathleen) Pointe of Alaska; a son, J. B. Outlaw of Pine Ridge; a sister, Kate Hall of Camden, and a brother, John Outlaw of Bethune.
