Mrs. Emma J. C. Lowe, 71, of 119 W Faribault st, widow of Frederick R. Lowe, died yesterday in a Duluth Hospital. Born in Chippewa Falls, Wis., Mrs. Lowe had been a Duluth resident for the past 40 years and a member of the Woodland Methodist church and the Womens Republican club. Surviving are a son, James R. Lowe, Duluth; a daughter Mrs. Arnold Rotvig, Duluth; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Nelson, Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Carl Anderson, Cloquet, a brother Henry Sparen, Duluth and three grandchildren.
