Services for Henry J. Bernsten , 60, were held at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with the Rev. E. Nicholas Harris of St. Innocent Orthodox Church officiating. A visitation was held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Bernsten died Jan. 11 at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
Born Oct. 8, 1925 in Alaska, he was a lifelong resident who worked as a commercial fisherman. Survivors are one sister, Nora Newman, and one brother, Howard Bernsten , both of Sand Point, and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Anchorage Memorial Park. Arrangements by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
