MRS. ADELMEYER -- Mrs. Lorinda Ida Maria Adelmeyer, 73, of 152 Church St., Oakfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1989, at her home. She was born Dec. 12, 1915, in Lomira Township, a daughter of Ferdinand and Lucila Heldt Lau. On Nov. 24, 1938, she married Vilas Adelmeyer in the Town of Lomira.

Mrs. Adelmeyer and her husband resided most of their married life in the Oakfield area and was a member of Lt. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Oakfield, and the Oakfield Senior Citizens Center.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Huck and her husband Robert of Oakfield; one son; Gary and his wife Marlene of Oakfield; six grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Lindert and her husband Harvey of Kekoskee, and Norma Walther and her husband Robert of Mayville; and three brothers, Harvey Lau of Bullhead City, Ariz., Ruben Lau of Lomira, and Palmer Lau of Iron Ridge. Preceding her in death were her husband in September of 1966, two daughters and one brother.

Funeral services ... held Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Oakfield. The Rev. Robert Bitter will officiate. Burial will follow in Brownsville Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kohls Funeral Home, Oakfield, and Friday from noon to the hour of services at the church.,
