A native of the Town of Eaton, he was born June 8, 1889, a son of the late Sent and Anna Sievers Bosma. He attended district school in Eaton.On May 19, 1914 he married Frieda Brocker in Kiel.
Following marriage the couple operated the Bosma home farm, retiring and moving to Kiel in 1968. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in May 1964.
Mr. Bosma was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ and a former treasurer of Elder Grove School and Eaton Cemetery Board.
Survivors are his widow; a daughter,Mrs. Ervin (Orvilla) Krueger; a son,Gordon of El Cajon, Calif.; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Anita Pohl of Sheboygan Falls.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild, great grandchil, three sisters and two brothers
