Mrs. Frieda Bosma, 82, of 1045 First St., Kiel, died Friday afternoon in Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
The former Frieda Brocker was born July 9, 1894, in the town of Eaton, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Lechler Brocker and attended school there. May 14, 1914 she married George Bosma in Kiel. The couple farmed in the town of Eaton until their retirement in 1968, when they moved to Kiel. The couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1964. He died July 5, 1975.
Mrs. Bosma as a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel and the G.U.G. Germainia Society of Kiel and was a charter member of the Eaton Cemetery Ladies Aid.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Erwin (Orvilla) Krueger, Chilton; a son, Gordon, El Cajon, Calif.; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a twin sister, Mrs. Herman Sievert, Kiel. She was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, one grandmother, and one great grandson.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Meiselwitz Funeral home, Kiel, with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in the Eaton Cemetery, Town of Eaton.
