Mrs. Emma Fluhr, 83, of 211 Paine St., Kiel, widow of Edgar Fluhr, died Thursday morning at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. The Rev. John F. Baumann will officiate with Burial in Eaton Cemetery, Township of Eaton.
Mrs. Fluhr, nee Emma Mahloch, was born June 2, 1893, at Collins, daughter of the late John and Mary Roberts Mahloch. She was married to Edgar Fluhr Sept. 16, 1916. They operated the Fluhr home farm in the Town of Schleswig. Seven years after the death of her husband June 16, 1932, she and her family moved to Kiel. Mrs. Fluhr was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ and Frauen-Verein of the church. She was a member of the Kiel Lodge Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Elroy of Chilton and Eugene, of Kiel; a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Bruckner, of Kiel, 13 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
