MEGGERS – Death claimed Frederick Graf early Thursday morning at his home near here, after a brief illness.
Deceased was born in Wittenberg, Germany, in 1848, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Graf. With his parents he came to America at the age of 7 years and settled at Germantown. Later they came to the town of Rhine, Sheboygan County, and after his marriage to Miss Frances Moser in 1871 Mr. Graf and his wife settled on his father’s farm there. They came to Meggers in 1915.
He is survived by his wife and six children, Ferdinand of Jacksonville, Fla., John of Milwaukee; Mrs. Walter Hansen and Herbert of the town of New Holstein, Mrs. Alfred Oesau of Kiel, and Waldo of the town of Eden. There are 29 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the Reformed church at New Holstein, Monday afternoon, Rev. A. C. Plappert officiating.
