ARNO R. LAU

Arno R.H. Lau, N. 5993 Hwy. 55, Hilbert, age 79, died Sunday, July 8, 1990 at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton after a short illness.
He was born Nov. 4, 1910 in the Town of Schleswig, the son of the late Otto and Louisa (Ibe) Lau. He attended schools in Calumetville and the Town of Harrison. He was married Nov. 18, 1954 in Chilton to Lorraine (Allen) Paque. After marriage the couple had resided in Rural Stockbridge where Mr. Lau had worked for the railroad for a total of 45 years, retiring in 1976. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mrs. Walter (Lucille) Preissner, Sherwood; Mrs. Alex (Jennie) Bodinger and Mrs. Roman (Doris) Diedrich, both of Stockbridge; an uncle, Louis Ibe, Kiel; a sister-in-law, Gloria Lau, Chilton; several nieces, nephews and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lorraine in 1977; two sisters and six brothers.
Services are scheduled for 11 am Wednesday, July 11, 1990 at the Sansom Funeral Home in Stockbridge with the Revs. Richard and Barbara Doerier-Peacock officiating. Burial will be in the Eaton Union Cemetery, rural Kiel. Friends may call from 4 until 9 pm on Tuesday, July 10, 1990 at the Sansom Funeral Home in Stockbridge and on Wednesday from 8 am until the time of services.
