Mrs. Marie C Lechler, age 72, of 822 7th St. Kiel, died this morning at Calumet Homestead in New Holstein after a lengthy illness.
The former Marie Theobald, born Jan. 22, 1915 in the Town of New Holstein, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Schoenborn Theobald. She attended Kiel Schools. On Sept. 4, 1937 she married Helmuth Lechler in Kiel. She was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Kiel and a member of the Church Women's Guild and the Church's Senor Social
Survivors are her husband Helmuth; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Jermaine of Kiel; 2 grandchildren, Lori and Jay; 2 sisters, Mrs. Norbert (Helen) Janty, Elkhart Lake; Mrs. Lydia Bunge, Kiel.
