Rochester: Born May 22, 1933 in Dorrance, PA. He lost courageous battle with cancer going home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at age 76. Predeceased by his father and mother, Steven & Mary (Cooper) Subyak; 6 brothers, Paul, Francis, Joseph, Steve, John & Philip Subyak; sisters, Elizabeth Fisher & Margaret Lawrence. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Glenda (Whitaker) Subyak; children, Sharon Burnett of Providence, RI, Michael T. Subyak of Rochester, Judy Galipeau of Romulus, NY; grandchildren, Billy Essig, Sheree & Julia Galipeau, Christopher, Amanda & Timothy Subyak; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and worked for 33 years for the U.S. Postal Service, until his retirement in 1995.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. S.). on Sunday 3-5 PM. Ted's Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Interfaith Chapel at Miller Funeral Homes on Monday at 10 AM. Interment Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the Hildebrandt Hospice Center in his memory.
