son of Samuel L. and Margaret Eugenia Gambrell Jennings. He was a veteran of WW1, and was severely wounded in battle in 1918. One of his sons, Neville Theodore Jennings, a veteran of WW2 is buried adjacent to him. Another son, Larkin Phillips Jennings, also a veteran of WW2 died at the VA Hospital in Beaufort, NC., and is buried in Liberty Memorial Gardens, Liberty, SC. Jerrell's wife Annie is also buried in Liberty Memorial Gardens.
