Raymond Harry Cotton

Coquille -- A prayer service for Raymond Harry Cotton, 64, Coquille, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father John McGuire officiating and the Rev. Floyd Huntley of the Riverton Community Church participating.

He was born June 2, 1925, in Myrtle Point, and died Oct. 20, 1989 in Coquille.

Mr. Cotton was a lifetime resident of Coos County. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a logger and dairyman for many years.

Survivors include brothers, Ruben "Gene" Cotton of Bandon, Ivan and Donald Cotton of Roseburg and Ralph Cotton of Medford; sister, Ileene of Grants Pass; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ada Bell Bodell of Gold Beach in 1986.

Arrangements are under the direction of Amling/Schroeder Funeral Service of Coquille.
