Andrew Hancharik, a well known resident of Mount Union, died at his home on Penn Street, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon after an illness of thirteen months duration. He was born in Austria-Hungary on Oct. 22, 1885, a son of John and Elizabeth Hancharik. Andrew was united in marriage with Anna Gajac at Cornwall, Pa., on May 15, 1905. Mr. Hancharik was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church of Mount Union and of the Pennsylvania Slovak and Roman Catholic Union and the National Slovak Society.
