Frank A. Richmeier, 93, Hill City, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at Dawson Place Nursing Home, Hill City.

He was born Oct. 10, 1912, in St. Peter to Jacob and Eva (Rome) Richmeier.

He married Barbara Storm on Aug. 27, 1937, in Collyer. She preceded him in death May 3, 1979. He was a farmer, stockman and oil field pumper.

Survivors include a son, LeRoy Richmeier, Westminster, Colo.; three daughters, Darlene Appelhans, Hill City, Doris Appelhans, Thornton, Colo., and Mary County, Aurora, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son, Alfred Richmeier.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hill City; burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, St. Peter. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Stinemetz Funeral Home, 522 N. Pomeroy, Hill City; Christian wake service at 7 p.m. at the church and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the church. Memorials are suggested for Masses to the church.
