Mary Ruth Hilton Fasshauer, born October 7, 1927, originally of Kell, Illinois, and more recently of Hoover, Alabama, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and soon to be great-grandmother, with a voice of a songbird and a master of the piano. No services are planned and donations to your favorite charity or hospice are requested in lieu of flowers. So soon we say goodbye to two parents. Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Guttman (and Dr. David Guttman)of Tallahassee, Florida, Karen Jery of Houston, Texas, and son, Mark Fasshauer of Birmingham, Alabama; granddaughters, Johanna and Allegra Fasshauer of Birmingham, Alabama and Jessica (and Phillip) Hillis of Orlando, Florida.
