PANHANDLE - (HC) Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Pauline Silcott, 97, a Panhandle resident since 1915, will be at 3 p.m. Friday from the First United Methodist Church.

Officiating will be the Rev. Jerry Bryan, pastor of the Beracah Bible Church of Amarillo, and the Rev. Keith Wiseman, pastor of the Panhandle church. Burial will follow in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral home.

Mrs. Silcott died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Home here, where she had been a resident for about three years.

She was born Feb. 20, 1876 in Brooksville, W.Va. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Panhandle Home Demonstration Club and the Golden Age Fellowship.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. H.R. Hudson of Hays, Kan.; two sons, James and Frank, both of Pampa, a brother, J.H. Knight of Asheville, N.C.; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
