BALARDO - Mary Ann Balardo, age 96, of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, May 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Balardo; grandson, Ross Vincent Balardo; three sisters, Louise (George) Skar; Alice (Joseph) Lufty, Julia (George) Amar; son-in-law, Paul McGoff. Surviving are her children, John J. (Geralyn) Balardo, Vincent G. Balardo, Diane M. McGoff; grandchildren, John Jr. (MaryBeth) Balardo, Christopher J. Balardo, Olivia Mary Balardo, Marisa Leigh (Jesse) Ledina, Paul McGoff II, Michael (Leslie) McGoff; great grandchildren, Kiersten, Alex, and Sophia Rose McGoff, Katherine and Sophia Balardo; brother, James (Linda) Zainea. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be recited 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at St. Stephen Church, 750 Gladstone Dr. SE. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Rosary 7 p.m. Monday. Visitation will be Monday, May 10, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, and one hour prior to service at the church.
