A Memorial Mass for Mrs. Forest E. Wolverton, 69, wife of retired Buffalo area business man, will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday in Christ the King Church, 2 Lamark Dr. Amherst, New York. Mrs. Wolverton (Audrey), of Fort Pierce, Florida, died Tuesday Sept 15, 1981 in Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, Florida. Her husband was the president and owner of the Eastern Forwarding Company, Inc. of Cheektowaga, New York. During World War 11, Mrs. Wolverton volunteered her time to serve as a Red Cross Grey Lady. A singer, she entertained patients at Veterans Administration Hospiitals in Buffalo and Batavia and at Children's Hospital in Buffalo. She also sang at the Buffalo Athletic Club where she was a 30 year member. She was also a life member of the Buffalo Canoe Club, also was member of the Buffalo Launch Club. She was past president of the Ono, the women's auxillary of the Buffalo Bill Tent, Circus Saints and Sinners.
In addition to her husband Forest, Mrs. Wolverton is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald Harper of Amherst, one stepson Martin J Wolverton of Grand Island, New York.
