Her husband, Christian Zehr, preceded her in death six years ago.
One daughter (Alta) her only child survives. Besides her daughter she leaves 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and a host of relatives and friends.
She was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church near Goodfield, Ill., and was greatly respected by all who knew her. She was afflicted for over three years, being confined to her home most of the time. She bore all her sickness patiently, always looking on the bright side, trusting in her Savior.
Funeral services were conducted by J. A. Heiser, Jacob Zehr, and H. C. Smith. Texts, John 14:1-3; Psa. 116:15. Interment in Hopedale Cemetery.
"A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in the home
Which can never be filled."
