Edna Amburgey was the fifth child born to John H. Amburgey and Ida Noble Amburgey. Edna married Edwin Everidge in 1940. They had two children: Donald Ray Everidge b.February 2, 1941 d.August 18, 1941. Bobby Phillip Everidge b. February 14, 1943. They were divorced in June 1943. Edna later married William D. Franklin from Coats, NC. They had three children: David Wayne Franklin b. May 14, 1945 d. April 9, 1977. Ronald Lee Franklin b. March 19, 1947 d. June 3, 2006 and Vicky Carol Franklin Parries. Edna died on August 9, 1956 of cancer.
