Lillian H. Kula Smith, 83, a resident of Coggon for the past 37 years, died Monday at Mercy Hospital following a long illness. Born April 18, 1898 at Prairieburg, she was married to Joe E. Smith on Sept. 19, 1916, at Prairieburg. Mr. Smith died on April 9, 1967. Mrs. Smith was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Coggon, and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include one son, LeRoy of Coggon; one daughter, Shirley Ann Huggins of Urbana; one brother, Raymond of Prairieburg; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren....
